9 Days Until Valentines!!!

Hi, this is Computeratic. I decided to do a thing where I will do a post as the countdown until Valentines' Day.

It's amazing what public schools are doing. My Father is a teacher, so I hear a lot about the public schooling these days. The schools are trying to cut down on parties and celebrations. No parties for Valentine's day. I am pretty disappointed because that was just a tradition. You know how we made those huge folders out of construction paper that would hold all the little cards you got from every single person in the class? That was just a classic. Although after all these years, I have thrown the cards away because all they did was take up space in my closet! Valentine's day is a day to love. I am not saying you should just love for one day, but it is a time to love one another. (I will explain the origin of Valentine's day in another post) The Bible says that we should love everyone, including our enemies! If you don't believe me, then check out Matthew 5:43-44. It's there! Instead of hating our enemies, we need to love. Now love is a very strong word, and it can express a lot of emotion! It is not something we should use lightly.

You may think loving your enemies is going to be tough, and it is! But Jesus can help us, for he is love. He can help us love our enemies. We can show His love through us when we love our enemies. And, maybe our enemies will see just how awesome our God is, and who knows? You could even help them admit that Christ is the Ruler of our life!
